The last time I did this contest was back in 2010 and it was a lot of fun. I figured it was about time to do it again and I need something to keep me going during the horrible, depressing winter months. So this is an art contest to draw one of my "Mary Sue" characters. Simple.
Rules are as follows:
1. The picture must contain one of my Mary Sue characters and at least one other canon character from the corresponding show. It does not have to be a romantic picture or include any romantic interest the character might have. (But it can be. I like both.) It's all up to you so feel free to be creative.
2. You cannot include any of your OCs. As much as I adore some of your characters, they're not part of this contest.
3. Pictures must be finished and colored to qualify for prizes. (Sketches are still accepted- I received a few last time from those who didn't finish before the deadline- but chances are they aren't going to win against people who took the time to finish their submission.)
4. To submit a picture, just post it on your gallery and send me a link via note or just a reply to this journal entry.
5. Pictures will be judged mainly on effort and creativity of concept. Also, I pick what I like.
6. Fanfics are welcome as well, but same rules apply: Mary Sue plus at least one other canon character, no OCs, and must be finished so I would aim for something short.
Current deadline: February 14, 2015
PRIZES: Prizes are free art requests from me. The amount of prizes I give out depends on the amount of submissions received. I think I gave out about 7 or 8 prizes last time. I try to make it worth it.
Quick Character References:
Blitzangel:
Mona Lisa(my versions)
2012:
2003:
Tawny/Black Kat:
Of course, I have a bunch of others. Any of them are up for grabs. Any questions about anything, feel free to ask.

Save Rise of the TMNT
I greatly regret sleeping on Rise of the TMNT. I missed out on being a part of an amazingly funny and creative show as it was being released. I didn't really watch it until the movie came out on Netflix. I liked it so much that I went back to watch the series. This show is lit, y'all. It is so funny, the characters are so great and the animation is just *chef kiss* And while it was unfortunately done dirty by Nickelodeon cutting the second season short, Netflix *might* pick it up if there seems to be enough interest. If you have not seen this series before and you have Netflix, I greatly recommend it. Especially if you're a TMNT fan. If you are a fan and you have been sleeping on this show because it's not your favorite favorite version of TMNT (I'm looking at you 2012 fans), you are doing yourself a great disservice. This show can do no harm to your favorite version of the turtles. In fact, Rise pays homage to the 2012 version in many ways in several different episodes. This
Where you can find me
I haven't been as active here on DA since their big update a while back. I have been trying out a few new social media sites where I will be focusing more on my best works and original projects. Having Trouble Approving Submissions
Hey guys, if anyone's submitted entries for the group since we moved to Eclipse, the reason they have not been approved is because I cannot heckin figure out WHERE I go to approve them now. Ugh, Eclipse is so terrible. Anyone know?
I updated Generations
I know, I'm surprised, too.

Question: does it matter which individual fandom with each character is used? I mean, for like Angel and Mona Lisa, could we do movie fandoms and Animated fandoms?
