Transformers Prime Prowl

This was one of the many awesome displays found at Botcon 2011. Yes, that is Prowl in TF Prime style and it IS official art. I freaked when I saw it, I will not lie. There was also a similar standee of Barricade. Which means this will be the first universe to have Prowl and Barricade in the same series. The fangirls can squee now.

Now, this is not art for the TF: Prime cartoon show. This is for a new online game coming out called "Transformers Universe". You can find their website at www.transformersuniverse.com

We were very lucky, we happened to come by when the booth wasn't too busy, so and I were interviewed. (And I was told I was not allowed to take the Prowl standee home with me ) We also got to chat with one of the designers for a while, he had designed Barricade. (Alas, Prowl's designer did not come.)

This is what he told us about the game and the characters: In this game you WILL be able to design your own OCs INCLUDING FEMMES! However, there will only be car designs, no jet modes are offered. But they are already plotting out jet designs for version 2, in which they hope they can offer OC designs for both cars and jets.

As of right now, TF: Prime style Barricade and Prowl are not going to be in the cartoon series. But the designers of the game really WANT them to be. So maybe if we pester them enough. XD
