Here's two rehashes of old characters that will be in the fanfic my sister and I may do sometime based on the new cartoon.
Slash and Venus de Milo. Both of them will be villains. Oh yes. And both projects from Bishop's lab. It's cliche, I know, but it works. Bishop was having crap results with his current mutations so he moved on to manipulating turtle DNA to make creations similar to the sucessful mutations already in existance.
Slash was orignally human, a brutal serial killer known as "The Manhattan Slasher". He was sentensed to life in federal prison where Bishop promised him freedom in return for submitting to his experiments. His shell is synthetic, fitted to his mutated body and made from different metals. The shackles on his wrists and anckles are to help keep him under control for sometimes his mutation makes him go berserk. Plus he was just a big crazy to begin with.
Venus is a complete test tube baby, made from scratch. She's completely loyal to Bishop and was trained in his own fighting style. She is silent, swift, and deadly and is often used as his personal assassin when he needs someone to take care of certain aspects of "business".
Though both mutations were considered sucessful, Bishop has one more experiment which he considers more important than the other two together.
Why does this remind me of Poison Ivy and Bane from Batman and Robin?
I know, I'm trying to reserve judgement until I watch it but.... the designs and the animation just look so bad. T.T;
Where were these two in the TMNT remake?
These would have been great additions to the show.
These, plus Tokka and Rahzar.
You need to add Tokka and Rahzar.
Biological experiments made for The Shredder, like those monsters he made as mining monsters.
Only, he created them as his personal mutant body guards, ready to kill, or die, for their "mother".
Venus was originally an ally of the turtles
Maybe you could make it so that she felt betrayed by them in some way
IDK its your fanart
I just think that would be more realistic
I love slash, hes so cute when he is with his palm tree x3
I am just now getting into the TMNT again, working on my own TMNT tribute project. So I have been going back and reading about older characters I never knew much about as a kid.
Eastman and Laird being so against a girl turtle was something I could understand, but I doubt they considered the girl turtle being a villain. That seems pretty creative to me. Although I never have seen Slash at all before, outside of the Turtles in Time video game on SNES, I do like your idea for him. But the whole love of palmtrees idea amused me... of course I only know of the concept, not the delivery ( I mean the comics, not the "alien from planet palmtree" cartoon concept ).
Anyhow, the picture looks great. And again, really creative way of using those oldies.
I love Venus!Congrats, it's perfect!!!*.*
