TMNT: Mona's Mom

I started designing Mona Lisa's mother after the episode "Buried Secrets". The guys just act so cute around a mother figure that I had to see more.

Mona's mother was a teenager when she had her so she's quite a young mother. Though her mother is the bread winner, Mona Lisa is the one that cooks and cleans. Her mother is especially bad at cooking so Mona takes it upon herself to do that. As a teenager, her mother lived in a rough neighborhood and was pretty tough herself. Almost a female Casey Jones without the vigilantism. You would never guess that about her at first glance as she now dresses very feminine and has a very sweet and maternal personality.

When Mona was first mutated, her mother locked her in the house, afraid of anyone finding her and taking her away. Neither was really sure what was going on. Mona either ran away or was kidnapped (still working on that) and met the turtles and then she brought the guys back home. It took her mother a while to get used to the boys, but now she loves them to bits and loves having a full family in the house. The boys love her doting on them as well, though some are too tough to admit it out loud.
